Upgrades are always welcome in LiveIn! In this article, we’ll be guiding you how to proceed with room upgrades.
Upgrade is allowed if:
- Desired room is available
- You’ve stayed more than 30 days from your move in date
STEP 1: Send Enquiry to Hotline Support
For any enquiries, including room upgrade, kindly reach out to our Hotline Support with info provided.
- Prefered Building
- Prefered Room Size
- Price Range
STEP 2: Check Availability
LiveIn Hotline Support team shall assist to:
- Check on the availability. Please be note that rooms are allocated on a first come, first serve basis with payment made.
- Arrange a virtual tour/actual tour before proceeding with any upgrade.
STEP 3: Confirm Upgrade
If the room/unit assigned meets your expectations and you're ready to proceed, you can confirm your transfer with us by replying to the hotline. You're required to also made payment during confirmation, including:
- Booking fee (1 month rental)
- This fee serves the purpose of reserving the new unit/room you have chosen. The booking fee will also be utilized as the next month's rental.
- Deposit top up (If any)
- The team will carry forward the deposit paid in current agreement to the new unit/room's agreement. A top-up of the deposit might be required based on the unit/room chosen.
- Tenancy agreement (15 % of the rental)
- A new tenancy agreement is required for the transfer to secure both you (the Tenant) and us (LiveIn).
STEP 4: Make Payment & Sign Tenancy Agreement
The deposit you paid for the current room will be transferred and applied as a deposit for the new room. You might be required for a deposit top-up (If any) upon confirmation. Once payment is received, our team will guide you through the process of signing the Tenancy Agreement (TA) with latest room info.
STEP 5: Check in Instruction
As your previous move in, a check-in instruction will be sent in the conversation in WhatsApp 3 working days before move in to guide you through the check-in process.
STEP 6: Transfer and Move In
Move out from current room:
- Please make sure the room is clean/tidy/no defects before checkout
- Upon you leaving the room, please leave【*leave your keycard inside your room*】 and 【*take a photo*】 to send to us
- Please remain the room door unlocked.
Move in to new room:
- You may follow the check-in instruction received to move into your new room.
